Bach Flower Remedies

Dr Edward Bach, who believed that a healthy mind equalled a healthy body, developed these remedies in the 1930’s. He believed that flowers were able to affect our state of mind and that they could be used to restore balance allowing good health and well-being. In total he developed 38 different remedies from wild plants, shrubs and trees. Rather that each remedy being associated with a specific complaint they are associated with different emotions, moods and personality types.

It is claimed that Bach Flower Remedies can help you deal with difficult emotions before they affect you at a deeper level making them ideal for anyone who has experienced bereavement. A combination of Eucalyptus, Bleeding Heart, Snowdrop & Borage is recommended for those who have experienced bereavement as it is claimed to help release and change deeply held feelings of grief and sadness allowing you the opportunity to move forward through your grief.

You usually take the remedies by putting a few drops in water and then drinking it, doing this a few times a day. They can be bought at many health food shops.
